We did our little Q&A with Helen from Plyconic. We love to build relationships with the brands and makers we stock and hope this gives a little insight into her world :)
Born out of the love and respect for twentieth century furniture. Plyconic emulate the shape and style of these iconic designs, stripping back the design from the materials, made in ply the pieces showcase the raw design and shape. By using just one material the designs are simplified. How the pieces are constructed becomes the detail and the stratified edges of the ply amplifies the beauty of it's simplicity and construction.

I love my morning walks in the woods with my son and beagle. We do the same forest walk every day and every day is so different. My son loves playing in the woods and creates new adventures each time, whether it’s climbing a new log, balancing on a tree root or touching every tree...a new thing is always accomplished.
